Broadband electromagnetic wave absorption is achieved with load-bearing capability.
Single-step multi-material 3D printing manufactures MMSC using octet-truss core.
Optimized upper-lower faceplatetes as transmitting-reflecting layers thin the MMSC.
High absorption rate-low broadband reflection loss is obtained in target bandwidth.
